Communications

When most people hear the term communications, they think of telephone.  However, communications have evolved a long way since the telephone was invented.  Today there are many forms of communication mediums including traditional copper cabling, fiber optic cable, and various forms of wireless communication.  It is no longer acceptable to just have an electrician run telephone cables.  Now, communication  cables should be seamlessly integrated into a larger system that covers your entire facility or building.  Telephone and data systems are combined in one central location to offer flexibility and reliability.  It is important for a design engineer to understand their clients' needs to provide a system that delivers performance today and flexibility tomorrow.
