Back-up Power Systems

Back-up power systems are extremely important today.  Failing utility grids, hurricanes, and other factors can all cut power to your location, leaving your business or home helpless.  Protect yourself by installing a back-up power system.  The most common types of back-up power systems are generators.  Other types include solar systems, fuel cells, and fly wheels.

Back-up power system design complexity can vary depending on the customers requirements.  A design engineer should study these requirements and evaluate the options with the owner.  This evaluation is the best way to provide the correct design to meet the customers requirements with as little complexity and cost as possible.

Shaffer Engineering Group has the experience and expertise to provide the correct back-up power system designs for projects that range from small home standby systems to large commercial systems.
